sycning to my car iPhone 4 I just got a brand new car that has sycn I was told by ford that the amp molduler was bad in the car and they had got a new part for it and all they fix my sync and it works on everyone elses iphone but mine i was told there is a glitch in my iphone not only that but if i sync my phone to my car i will mess up my new system!! As of now i have no idea what to do! my phone is out of warranty and i dont want to take it to an apple store if it is not needed! HELPPPPP

check the dock on your iphone and make sure there is no physical damage or debris causing the issue.

if that is ok backup and restore the device to factory settings (set up as new) and test it. (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414)

that will tell you if it is your phone or a setting.

if you're unsure about this, pay Apple to walk you through it. (1-800-275-2273)
