Hello everyone.
My boss gave me his iPhone 3g after he upgraded. I'm switching from the android market (thank god).
Anyways - I called my mobile provider, got my data plan and everything swapped over.
However, whenever I go into the App Store to download something, the install bar is half-loaded and nothing will download.
For example:
I'm trying to download the facebook app. I see the little blue box to the right that says "+Free". When I click it, the bar disappears half way, but turns green. I can see a few letters "NSTAL..." and that's it. When I click it, the box turns blue again and nothing happens.
Any idea what's going on? I've attached a screen shot of my issue.
Not sure why you're having trouble on the phone but you could always dowload the app(s) in iTunes on your computer and sync them to your phone. Try force closing the App Store app followed by resetting your phone: double tap the home button, locate Apps Store in the list at the bottom, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap
to close it, finish by tapping the home button. Now reset: hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release.
When I double tap the home button, it brings up my contacts. :
Sorry, this is my first iPhone and I'm still getting used to it.
What version of iOS is it running? You can see this in Settings>General>About, look for "Version".
