Springboard crashing constantly after iOS 5.1 update iPhone

The moment I updated to iOS 5.1 my springboard would crash when recieving a text message. I believe I have it narrowed down to a message I recieve from my security cameras when it detects motion. I have tried to do a clean restore but I still experience the same crash. My phone is crashing up to 20 times a day due to this bug. Hopefully an iOS developer is reading these forums.

Is anyone else having these problems?

When looking through the other stack traces it seems to be crashing in a similar spot and always is the KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS exception. I have plenty more where this came from, and I am assuming Apple has many like this.

I've having the same issue I'm not able to pull any crash logs regarding the Kernel, but it seems that some of the app crashes are taking springboard down with it.

I had to disable recieving texts from my security system. I think it has to do with the image getting corrupted while being forwarded to my phone.

If I manually forward messages it is fine. It only happens when gmail automatically forwards the message.

I have been getting a similar crash since upgrading to iOS 5.1 - usually related to double-clicking the home button to bring up the running tasks bar. Whereas my iPhone almost never crashed before, it is pretty regular now. THe crash log indicates that the Springboard process is responsible. I have filled out a bug report on the Apple web site twice, but nohing yet. Hopefully this will be fixed with the next update.
