When my phone rings and I go to answer it, sometimes the slider goes over and bounces back or won't slide at all. My hands are warm so cold skin is not an issue. This has only been happening for the last few weeks.

I can then slide to unlock and return the call but it is frustrating to not be able to answer all of the calls when they come in.

It also seems the phone is slower and I had a white bar on the side of my calendar the other day.

Did check and the phone software is updated.

This is a common problem for the "older" versions of the iPhone.  It is not a problem that can be fixed persay, but you can work around it.

 

When the phone rings, and you are having the problem of not being able to slide the bar all the way across to answer, hit the power button on the top. 

 

This will turn off the ringer and vibrator and the screen will turn black, but the phone call is still there. 

 

So hi the power button on the top agian, and the same screen will reappear, now you should be able to slide it across. 

 

 

This trick has worked for me everytime! I hope it works for you too
