Im sending attachments using the e-mail address format 5555555555@mms.att.net
Unfortunately my friends G3S is not receiving the picture, but only the message.
I have an original 2G iPhone, so that is the only way I have of sending MMS. I dont send them to e-mail because SMS/MMS is more immediate and can be forwarded to other non-iphones as an mms.
Does this have anything to do with the size of the image, or the file format? I noticed QT offers settings to save as 3gp format for cell phones, is there a similar setting for JPGs?

The iPhone cant receive an MMS using the number@ method. Why not just send the picture to the persons email address instead since they have an iPhone?
