Hi all, Any ideas on how to get rid of being redirected to gofreebies.org. It just pops up when in Safari or going through a link on Twitter, there seems to be nothing you can do to get rid of it. Very annoying when your trying to read a website. I'm wondering whether i have a virus however everything read says there are no viruses for Apple products.
If this is on the iPhone... there are no viruses that affect iOS.
Is the device jailbroken?
Hi there, it is an i phone 4s running the most upto date version. I'm new to Apple so i'm afraid i'm not sure what you mean by jailbroken. I;m confident though that the answer will be no to that question
Does this only occur when connected to Wi-Fi or when on cellular data as well?
Have you tried a reset or restore of the device?
Honestly sounds like the device is jailbroken.
Yep both wifi and cellular. Not every website though. Links from twitter and a site called über humour. What's jail broken?
Oh forget. Yep I've restored the phone now. Unlucky for me I didnt back up my numbers. So far so good though
