Three problems using iCloud iphone contact list incomplete even though iPad contact list complete. iMac contact list also incomplete since I synced w iPad . No duplicates in iCloud account so am unsure which device cause of issue.

Mucho problemo!  iMac no longer has complete contact list-missing from mid 'M' on and many duplicates, which, when I try to edit, wipes out most of the list):  iPad has the complete contact list but I have been unable to sync complete contact list from iPad to iMac.  Problem #3 is that my iphone contact list is not complete and phone numbers of favorites come up as telephone numbers only, no names):  I have iCloud-no dupes of contacts in iCloud...so what is the crux of my problem...and where should I start to correct this mess?

you would need to go through all your settings with someone, who knows about icloud. You would also have to make sure, that your defaults are the same on all devices connected to icloud. May be a good idea start finding someone, or call Apple, or go to the store.
