Hey guys,
Ive got a problem with backing up my iPhone that I am pretty worried about. When I try to make a manual backup of my iPhone in iTunes it appears to make a backup. However when I check out the list of backups made, it only shows backups from 15th july 2010 and before, as well as the default undated backup.
It appears as if my manual backup is made, but that it is written over the undated autobackup made by iTunes when I sync. However I just want to be able to store several recent backups! How can I make manual backups again?!

What youre seeing/experiencing is how it works. Only one iphone backup is kept(except for restore backups). Its actually an incremental backup in that only data that has actually changed is backed up. Restore backups are time/date stamped & not overwritten. Read more about backups here:
