Previous iPhone Owner Problem

My Cousin Sold me her old iphone & bought A New iphone. When She Gave Me The phone It still had all her contacts and other stuff on the phone. So i deleted some contacts and she told me that contacts from here new iPhone where missing. the phone still has all her info. in It like Her #. Im not sure on How To Fix this problems. If i reset the whole phone will that effect the iphone she has now? I really Need Help.

Signing out of her Apple ID on your phone should fix the problem. Go into Settings > Store > Apple ID, and sign out there. Then try deleting a contact, and see what happens.

In addition to what Noble Seven has suggested, also sign out from iCloud.

After making sure that deleting a contact from your phone is no longer affecting her contacts, restore your iPhone on your computer and setup as new to make it truly yours. Sign in to apps store and iCloud with your Apple I.D.

So After i do all that and i restore the phone is anything going to happen to the phone taht she has now?i just dont want to mess her phone up.
