Postpone Iphone Purchase

All,
I love the browsing/apps that come with the Iphone. I also like the Blackberry 9000 texting/e-mail ability (I know, blasphemy on this board). I friend of mine says I should wait on the Iphone because Apple may release a new version (i.e. new *hardware*) this summer. Is this accurate?
Any info (rumors) appreciated.

No one here knows for sure. iPhone releases are a more closely guarded secret than any other apple product. Anyone who knows for sure is bound by a NDA which prevents them from saying anything.

The terms of these forums do not allow the discussion of rumors.
Make a list of features both phones have and see which phone has the features that are important to you. Go to the store and play with both phones and see which one fits your needs.

When I said rumors, I was being facetious. Frankly, the Blackberry fits my needs better (today), but Id be particularly peeved if Apple released a new product this summer...Im really leaning toward the Iphone, so I guess Ill just have to wait.
