Please help me going from Palm Centro to iphone

There are several ways to do it. The key on Windows is to transfer your contacts, calendar, memos and tasks to MS Outlook. Then sync the iPhone to Outlook.
You can do this by reinstalling Palm Desktop and configure it to sync with Outlook instead of Palm Desktop. Chapura (http://www.chapura.com) also has a utility that will copy PIM information from PD to Outlook.
And theres also SwitchSync (http://www.livepim.com/switchsync/) that will allow you to sync your Palm with Outlook.
The only downside to all of these is you need Outlook.

If youre using outlook or outlook express, there isnt a problem with your addresses.
The calendar and and memos are probably going to require some typing.

Use Outlook. Sync all your Palm info to Outlook or Outlook Express. Once you confirm all your data is in Outlook then sync your Iphone to Outlook. You have to choose what you would like to sync in Itunes and you should be fine.

So what do you do if you have a Mac? Still use outlook? Or Entourage? You can really get the Memos from your Palm device into the iPhone that way... and where do they go? Into Notes?

With a Mac sync the Palm with iCal and Address Book. Same principle, different software.
