Ive been a loyal iphone user and waited in line the first day both models came out and I love the phone. I know that the phone cant send/receive pictures. With that said, its about time apple fixes this.
The Iphone is suppose to be one of the most advanced pieces of technology and cant send/receive MMS. When you do get a picture message its absolutely ridiculous to look up on viewmymessage.com. The login is impossible to remember and not to mention a big waste of time.
Apple im sure you could fix this with an update. Get on top of it! Youre doing your company a big disservice.

Fixes what? Fixes the marginal expectations of users who cant see the massive advantages of email over the serious and historic limitations of MMS? Personally Ill stick with email and the iPhone compared with any lesser technology that can only support (stop-gap) MMS, thanks!

I really dont understand what is wrong with some of you apple bots. Why cant someone express their thoughts freely on a trivial but important feature that the iphone is lacking?
What is so wrong with what the topic creator is stating?
Yes multimedia email is better than MMS, but you know what, the rest of the world uses MMS to quickly send a friend/love ones a picture, and that is how it is done right now in the mobile world. Email is a home/business thing on the laptop or desktop for most people still.
Why should my friends and family have to go through this painful task of keying my email address into the send to line when its much easier to select my phone number like they are used to do?
Why should I go to this very painful was of accessing a picture sent via text on the iphone?
Yeah, this is a PROBLEM for me and many users. In this day and age, people dont want to be inconvene to be told to do something theyve been used to do in a very convenient way the hard way. Apple needs to get in touch with the customers, not expecting the customers to bend for them. Enough said!

Whats trivial but important about MMS that requires endless attention by Apple (PS. Im no Apple bot)? If its trivial then surely its not important?
you know what, the rest of the world uses MMS to quickly send a friend/love ones a picture then you know what? The rest of the world does not include me or a significant number of iPhone users that I know either! Yes, there are some who wish that MMS was part of the eternal universe and will hate it when it eventually disappears because of the issues that it gives to network operators, but there are probably as many people upset to discover that the world is not really flat!
Why should my friends and family have to go through this painful task of keying my email address into the send to line......wellllll, if they all had iPhones then they wouldnt have to bother at all, would they???? (Sales commissions send to me at.... NO!!!!! SERIOUSLY, there is ONLY an issue for those who reject the fact that so many complained originally that there was NO email on their mobile network that resulted in MMS being created as a stopgap in the first place and NOW there is GENUINE email they are complaining again that MMS is on the way out! Wow! What a surprise!

What is wrong with some of you people? It is OK for someone to express their thoughts freely on MMS when it is something they want, but it isnt OK for someone to do the same if they have a different point of view on MMS?
You are correct that MMS is trivial, but what you and others consider important may not be important to me and others. If you are for someone expressing their thoughts freely on MMS, then this should apply to all thoughts - for and against.

Actually, now that I come to think of it, perhaps it is the RIM, Motorola and Nokia bots who keep complaining on this forum about the lack of MMS on the iPhone because it is about the only differentiator those products still possess!!?
