My phone had 80% charge when I left for work. The phone stayed stored in my purse all day, I took the phone out to call my husband and it has no sign of life. After charging for 45 minutes, the phone still has no sign of life. What the heck????

Reset the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears.
