Please help me!  The phone, fb, text, and gmail icons have disappeared from my iphone4. Settings show they are there, computer also, but won't sync, can't find them. HELP!

 

When I call myself from Skype, the phone rings and the keypad appears. When I text myself from skype I receive the text at the top of the phone. But there's stil no icon to dial from, contacts, etc., no text icon, fb or mail. Where are they and how do I get them back? When I plug into the computer it shows them where they've always been but they are not there!

Basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore.  Has any of this been tried?

 

Built in apps, like contacts, phone, mail, etc, can not be deleted.  They are either on another screen, in a folder, restricted, or something is wrong with the iOS on the device.

 

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout should put everything back in the default location.
