My friend & myself purchased Apple 4S on same day. i. e. Dec 2011. During the various upgrades received, my friend received the "Personal Hotspot" on his iphone, whereas I could not get the same. When I check for the upgrade, the message says, your software is upto date.

 

Do I need to change some settings on my phone.

 

I have Wi-Fi in my office.

hotspot only show up if the carrier support it and it's turned on in the subscription as some carriers charge for the feature
