New phone and even more troubles dropped calls iPhone 4

this is a fault in the design of apples iphone 4 they put the antenna on the outside of the phone which allows skin to lower the signal there is a fix for this but it requires you to put a case on the phone..

By bottom corner, what exactly do you mean?
On the LEFT side, bottom corner, the metal band (antenna) has a black divider. If your hand covers the band on both sides of that divider, you lose signal.
If you are touching something else, you might have a phone with a unique problem and need them to replace it.
I never had it lose the signal completely though. However, when on the internet, if I cross that divider, it will pretty much stop the browser from loading anything. But phone calls have always worked. And Im not in a great service area. I made it so my phone shows numeric signal strength rather than bars and it is not uncommon for me to see it worse than -100 db. Sometimes even -110 db. I think it is only supposed to work down to -121 db.
