New IPhone 4s battery dropping quickly

I got my new iPhone 4s a week ago, and I have noticed a issue with the battery life. For example today I went to work took it off charged (it was complete at 100%) at 8:30 4 hours later when I actually used it had lost 10% battery useage! And I had nothing running in the background! I don't know if this is normal for a iPhone or not as this is my first iPhone. I was just a bit surprised that it went down so quickly without me using it! I would be greatful if anyone could tell me if this is normal or not? Thanks!

In half the time that it took you to compose your post, you could have searched this forum and found many, many, many posts addressing your issue and excellent steps to take to maximize battery life.

Always is forum etiquette to SEARCH the forum before posting as if you're having a problem, chances are someone else is as well and the question is likely answered.
