My volume always going up iPhone

I biked to work listening to my iPhone and when I got there I noticed my volume grew on its own.
Now its as if I am ALWAYS tapping the volume button on the side of the phone and the box with volume levels which comes up is permenantly on my screen! Annoying Help!

Try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you wont lose any data or settings.
