Every time I connect my iPhone to my laptop and iTunes opens, it synced. But then the syncronisation cancels and a window appears, which reads:

It could be carried out no backup because the backup is damaged or was not compatible with the iPhone. Delete the backup for this iPhone and try again.

 

But: 1. How do I delete a backup? 2. What do I do next?

Hi.

 

First of all you should - if you haven't - register at iCloud. Here you'll have a constant back-up.

Since I don't know if you use Mac or PC, I can't tell where to find the damaged back-up file.

 

You might also want to try this: Plug in your device to your PC/Mac. If iTunes automatic make a sync/back-up, wait for it to finish. Now, right-click your device and choose "Make back-up", and see if this "forced" back-up might help.
