whenever i open my music, the volume control bar doesnt show, just like it would be if it was connected to a dock. it works sometimes when headphones are plugged in, but absolutely not with just the speakers. tech support isnt answering and verizon cant help me.. anything i can do or do i just need to have apple send me a new iphone since it's been less than 90 days since i got it? ive tried reseting it and restoring it

My iPhone does exactly the same thing!!! It's so frustrating!!! I've been back to the apple store and they gave me a new iPhone 4s and I started it as a new iPhone.. Not from last back up and it's still doing the same!!! Not happy at all!! Hopefully the 'Apple Genius' team online can help us out as the ones in store say they've never heard of such problem before!!! Apple need to sort their problems out!! Please please help us out!!

Using a clean, soft, dry brush, clean the dock connector.
