Reply TopicMy Iphone 4S Was fully submerged in water, it has not worked for weeks but i plugged it in to the charger today and it worked started up, charged fine the apple logo appeared and then it just stayed black, I managed to type my passcode in without seeing the screen and it unlocked fine. Im now restoring it with itunes and hopefully it helps.

#2You probably still have warranty. Just go back to your carrier and tell them that your phone suddenly stopped working and they will most likely end up giving you a new/fixed iphone.

#3Warranties don't cover liquid damage. The phones have liquid damage indicators that enable the carriers and Apple to determine if they've gotten wet.
