Nope - that's not the issue. I'm very careful on how I'm entering it and, as I said, it works fine in everything BUT the app store. ?

Try retyping the Apple ID as well as the password. Seems like there might be a mismatch.

Log out your apple ID in settings and log in again.

Am I missing the log out ability in Settings? I'm not seeing where I can log out of my apple ID. ?

Settings - scroll down to app store - click on it, then click on your apple id then you will be able to log out and log back in.
