My iphone 4 wont turn on

I left my iphone 4 on the table for two minutes and as I was supposed to call someone it would not respond. The screen was black and I cant turn it on anymore. The iphone has not been damaged in any way, so I dont know why it just "died". What should I do?

Do a reset on the phone. That is done by holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. It can take up to 20 seconds or more. The phone should restart then.

Consider the phone like a small computer. Every once in a while it needs to be rebooted.

Dear chrisj4203 lol i just had a mini heart attack when this happened to me... i literally just got the phone like 2 weeks ago and it doesnt have a scratch on it and it just shut off!!! thanks so much
