My headphone jack and speakers only work half time this some kind of water damage or just malfunction iPhone

My headphone jack registers half the time, and my bottom speaker only works every once in awhile along with text/keyboard sounds. I can't recall any specific moments where my phone has gotten wet but is this some kind of water damage or just a malfunction?

Liquid damage can manifest itself in an almost endless variety of ways, some of them intermittent. Take your phone to your nearest Apple Store and have them look at it.

ok, the only reason I ask is because I'd like to get a replacement for without cost, but I know they don't replace it for free if there's water damage.

No, they won't but, in order to get a replacement, you're going to have to have them look at it eventually.
