Missing Facebook Icon iPhone 3G

Hi All,
I have searched high and low but cant get this resolved.
My facebook icon has disappeared
If I search then I can launch facebook from there.
But i want my icon back..
I have deleted the app from the phone.
Have also deleted from PC
have rebooted phone.
installed from app store via phone and still no icon.
deleted again and tried downloading from itunes on pc and then syncing that way but still no icon.
Please can someone advise if they have come accross this and managed to fix, i dont fancy having to restore thewhole phone.

Hi there,
Can you be a little more specific please - how many apps have you got installed? Have you used up all available slots and pages with applications yet?
What you may be able to do is use the iTunes app layout page (on your computer) to drag the Facebook app to the necessary page. This is not possible on the phone itself if youve used up all pages (I hope this makes sense).

Thanks for a quick reply.
I only have 25 apps installed spread out over 5 pages
soplenty of soace, infact i just downloaded a freebie from itunes to test it will install and show the icon and it did. but still fails with facebook
I will try the itunes layout page like you say.

OK, I dumb.
How do you see the layout of your iphone via itunes on your PC
I see my apps but they are not in order of my app screen on the phone or am i misreading you

What version of the iPhone OS are you running? Also, is the Facebook icon blank and greyed out or is is just not on the phone at all?

I have 3.0
The icon not on the phone at all
but when you go to seach and type facebook
it appears in the list, when i then tap on this it opens up fine.
