Hello,

 

 

I purchased iphone4 last year from authorized Apple reseller in Vietnam.

As of last Friday It started very strange problem - sudden stop as mid-conversation the other side stop hearing me.

It should be noted that I tried to put the speaker, connect headphones, connect headset Bluetooth earphones and nothing worked - still they have not heard me.

More mention - when I talk through other applications (Bphobe, Skype and so on) or when I'm recording myself in "voice memo" or using voice commands -the microphone works fine and without any problem!

I tried to do restore but it did not help.

 

What can you do?

Based from your description, the iPhone doesnt have any problems in terms of hardware or the microphone, it is fine.

The problem is software-related, if restore did not helped try dfu mode and restart the iPhone, if it doesn't fix try downgrading the iPhone  iOS version using the same method as restoring. Check if you jailbreaked the iPhone, if you did it is affecting the microphone by a 3rd party application installed using cydia I recommend delete them nor completely unjailbreak the iPhone.

 

It should work as the iPhone microphone is fine it is a conflict in the software.
