I'm not really sure why but it seems a number of people I know, myself included are getting an error sign (and an alert too) in the Messages app on iPhone where it seemingly won't send anything using iMessage, yet the other person does get the messages. I was thinking it might be our carrier but it happens on my iPad and my Macs too so probably not...?
Anyone else experiencing similar issues (or have had this happen) or know how to fix this?
I'm noticing that iMessages are not being sent to email addresses including my AppleID. I tried to send to my phone number and it goes through, but if I try to send it to my AppleID email addresses it never completes the send. Rebooted, turned iMessage on/off, removed email address and added back in: No luck. Is iMessage having issues?
iMessages must be down. Will not work on my iPad, iPhone, or MacBook Pro. I've tried 2 separate wireless networks AND using a VPN. Just pops up a delivered message, then back tracts and an exclamation point pops up. Reboot won't help any device. I have not received a single iMessage since this problem started occurring. SMS works fine.
Ok, I don't know that this will help anyone but after some observation I think powaking is on to something. It works between phone numbers just not between email addresses. Which is a bummer, to be sure, but I think it might be an issue with the server, which will hopefully get fixed sooner than later because it's annoying that one of the main features of ML is now for all intents, crippled.
