Thanks. Do you know if it's possible to wipe if I didn't have iCloud set up? I'm having a hard time trying to figure out who to contact (other than Verizon, who said all they can do is suspend the account)

You would have had to set up iCloud and enable Find My iPhone on the phone prior to losing it in order to do a remote wipe.  There's nothing you can do after the fact except contact the police and your carrier.  There are some specific suggestions outlined in the article I linked in my post above, including this one: http://ipod.about.com/od/iphonetroubleshooting/tp/What-To-Do-When-Iphone-Is-Stol en.htm.

One more thing.  If you set a passcode lock on your phone before it was lost/stolen, the thief will have to wipe the phone and set it up the phone as a new iPhone in order to use it (so they would not have access to your data).
