Lost Phone-retrieving photos iPhone 4

Pics taken with the iphone are not part of the sync process at all.

You should have been importing them to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.

Your pics are gone.  Sorry.

You mentioned you were using iCloud.  Did you do any backups via iCloud?  Those are done without connecting to your computer.

I did think this was the case to be honest, I was just hoping that i may have missed something. Especially when i saw that the last update on that folder was so close to when I realised that my phone had gone missing. So so many sentimental memories on there. I'm so mad with myself!!!

I connected to iCloud and the last 30 days came through but nothing else.The strange thing is that the photostream on my phone had tonnes more photos on it that what came through to my computer from iCloud. It was the first time i had logged in from a computer though so i had no idea how it worked. I assumed that everything that was on the phones 'photo stream' would stay in the iCloud as i had a similar thing when i was on vodafone a few years back.

I guess i have to take it as a lesson learnt. Its so deverstating as all my babies pictures are on there.
