Keyboard Appears when it Should'nt iPhone 4

Something weird has been happening recently, over the past week actually. When I go to the search iPhone area, and then go back to home screen, by either swiping back or pressing the home button, the Keyboard from the Search screen Still remains on screen. It disappears ONLY when I open an app OR by locking the phone and un-locking. Any suggestions?? I have emoji app installed, I heard that could cause problems? I restarted the phone and now it works..... woooohoooooooo...... I havent restarted in about 2/3 months... I loves my iPhone
