I plugged in my iphone through the usb to the computer to transfer my pictures. It automatically sucked out all of my information. My notes had my script and I
am going to court tomorrow to try and defend my special needs son and all the information is gone. I need to retrieve my pix, my texting and my notes .
I am desperate.
Patricia
Simply plugging a device in, much less syncing it does not cause content to disappear.
Did you possibly restore the device from a different/older backup?
The only way to get the missing content back would be to restore it from a backup when the content actuallly existed.
Maybe a better question is why something so important solely existed on the iPhone in the first place.

Have you ever connected your device to this particular computer before? If not then iTunes will tell you that it will erase all the data on the device to start afresh from the "new" computer. But this is not an automatic process, iTunes warns you and then only if you click continue will it delete everything. Only other way to retrieve it back would be to restore froma previous backup. I hope all goes well for your case and if you need further assistance don't hesitate to ask. Please provide more details about the device and how its being backedup etc. Cheers and god bless! -Manuel
