I would like to transmit by bluetooth, audio from the iPod app to another bluetooth device. I believe it to be posible and I've seen the icon displayed on other iphones on the ipod app, next to the forward sign, but mine does not show it when a bluetooth device is available thus it shows it when the airport is within reach. My OS is 4.2.1

You have to pair your phone with the device and it must support A2DP audio streaming.
