They can sell you a replacement iphone for $229 ( U.S)

FWIW:

See if they'll still let you buy AppleCare+ (if you bought it less than 30 days ago). This way it is only $99, and then it only costs $49 for an accidental damage incident. That total to $148, much less than $229, and if it happens one more time you just have to pay $49.

AppleCare + won't fix this. They require an inspection at an Apple Store of the phone if AppleCare + is not purchased with a new phone.
