Hi, I have an iPhone 4S with some purchased apps. I would like to switch to Android operated phone. However I would like to give the handset to my girlfriend. Is there anyway she can keep using the purchased apps?

I think you should sign out of iTunes and then give the phone. The apps will continue working - but the phone is still an authorized device (out of a limited number) so that is something to think about.
