Iphone4 freezes when closing multitasking apps. Unacceptable

Has anyone noticed that when you have a number of apps running, and you continuously tap the x to close out of them, the iPhone freezes even though the icons keep wiggling. It takes the phone about 2 minutes to unfreeze, or I have to restart it. This doesnt only happen if you have a ton of apps running, sometimes it happens randomly when closing out of just one app. It happens on my iPhone 4. Software bug? Anyone else having this issue?

3GS or IP4?
Either way, thats not normal. Id take it in to Apple or do a complete restore and setup as new phone.

do you think it could be an hardware problem? i dont think so, or better i dont hope so...
what about the restore, how can i save all my applications and messages and data?
anyway this is not acceptable, ive paid 779 working euros..

Yep have that happen only when I click to close the mail app after closing a few before it. If I save the mail app for last it doesnt freeze. I Have to hardboot the phone when it does happen.

it happens very very often...i dont know why this is happening, im hoping in a software issue so that it could be fixed..
im scared closing apps now. unacceptable...
