iPhone Wont Sync with PC

Reply Topic Tried to sync iPhone. Backed up okay then froze mid-restore. Left with nothing on the phone. Have downloaded latest iTunes have followed every recommended step. Couldnt even get iTunes to recognise the device. Tried to restore on a Mac and managed to do that. Connected back to PC and it allowed me to restore my back up. Pretty happy about that! But... no songs or apps. Have tried to sync with PC to restore from the iTunes library. Now it wont even recognise my phone... again! Says there is some error. (I just went to check the error wording so replugged it in and OMG the thing started syncing) So it seem you just have to threaten to join a forum

For the future, only use a USB port directly on the computer (and on the rear if there are ports both front and rear), not a hub, and disconnect any USB devices that do high volume data transfers if that doesnt allow you to sync consistently. Antivirus and firewall software can also interfere with syncs and restores.
