Hi all,
Was just one the BBC's website on my iPhone reading an article about a virus that's hitting Mac's, a trojan that Apple just brought out a fix for. Juust as I got to the bottom of the page, my phone's screen went blank, the Apple logo appeared for about a minute and I thought I would turn it off, nope wopuldn't respond. Eventually the log-in scrreen appeared and I got copntrol back. Any one heard about an attack on the iPhone?
Thanks
G
The Java exploit on the Mac can't affect the iPhone. iPhones don't run Java. Whatever caused it to "reboot" on its own is a mystery.
A corollary is that if your Mac is not running Java, it cannot be affected either.
There are not viruses that affect iOS devices.
Reset the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.
