Hello, my iPhone screen has turned sepia. No one say 'click the home button 3 times' or 'turn white on black off' because I have tried them!

Basically on the right side of the screen there is a black part. About a quarter of the screen it fills.

 

It is sepia too. It is really hard to see things. Also, say if i am on the home screen, then i open settings; the home screen would be in the background!!

 

HELP!

Obviously, you have a defective screen, and this is not a feature of the phone you can turn off, 

 

On a long shot, you can try a reset (no data loss): press both home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.  If that doesn't help, you need to either get the phone replaced (warranty or out of warranty), or go to an independent iPhone repair center.

i might go to a repair shop and get the LCD replaced. thanks

So you know, doing so would void the warranty on the phone, if you have any left.

One would hope that if he has any remaining warranty coverage, he would automatically opt for a free warranty replacement rather than paying for a repair in the first place.   Otherwise, he has bigger problems than a bung iPhone screen...
