iPhone reset caused Game Center Problems

When I log onto Game Center it says "This Apple ID has not yet been used in Game Center" When I continue to the nickname part I put in "inSYNCinSANITY" and it says it's already being used by another member... That member was me! Anyone know how to get around this so I can still use "inSYNCinSANITY"?

I've only ever seen that happen if I'm logged in with the wrong Apple ID (I have my iCloud acct and another Apple ID that I use for purchases and everything else).

 

Instead of entering a nickname, hit cancel, then log in with the Apple ID tied to that Game Center account.
