iPhone OS 3.0-no tethering in preferences 3G

You may have to call Rogers and activate a tethering plan to see the option.

According to Rogers, its already enabled and I should see the option. I suspect it might be an issue with the multiple upgrades or failing to update the system preferences?

You could try doing a reset and see if that makes it appear.

As I said in my original message, I tried resetting and restoring the device but would not get the option.
To further troubleshoot the problem, I did a clean restore and did not restore from my backups. With my phone fresh as if it shipped with 3.0 and no other data, I could find the tethering option where suggested.
Unfortunately, I have a fair bit of data I would like to maintain from some of my apps that arent stored anywhere else, so Id prefer to find out what I can do to get it working correctly with my restored backup.
Or am I doomed to try to rebuild all of that info and figure out how to transfer my app purchases over to my new 3G?

I have the same Problem.
So far i have OS 3.0 but there is no Tethering Option...
What do i have to do to get it?
