I've just set up a new broadband provider and all of my my iPhone Notes have synched to my Mac as email, which I have deleted ( and deleted again). I was dismayed to find that the Notes have all disapeared from the phone. I use 'Notes' for working notes; reminders at work, new passwords, while travelling etc. I don't mind the phone sending the Notes details to my home Mac for backup, but I really don't want them to disappear from the phone, where they are actually useful.
Advice please - and can I restore the missing Notes from the phone.
Thanks,
Mike
If you are syncing Notes with your Mac, don't delete them on your Mac if you want to keep them. Syncing means it keeps them in sync across multiple devices. If you delete on one device it will delete on all others.
If you haven't maintained backups and have deleted the Notes that sync between your Mac and iPhone then they are gone.
Incidentally, this has nothing to do with your broadband supplier.
