Today while I was sleeping my iPhone fell out of my pocket and onto the carpeted floor. When I woke up, I tried pressing the home button and the power button. However, my phone did not turn on nor show any change in the display. I then connected it to my power-outlet charger, thinking that it was a battery problem and voila, it turned on. After a short while a message came on the screen that said "Activation Required" so I unlocked my phone and continued to the next screen. At this point, it said to connect to iTunes. I disconnected my phone and immediately the display went dead. I repeated the procedure of connecting it to a wall-outlet and then disconnecting it with no change in the result. I am stumped by this, anyone have any ideas on what is the problem? I really need my phone to work because it has all of my major contacts and such.
