BEFORE POSTING PLEASE READ WHAT I AM SAYING AND ASKING FOR

 

 

 

It is quite evident that there has been wifi-specific issues among many ios 5 users since the update. I am one of the unlucky suckers out there.

 

Rather than posting 'I have the same problem', etc. I simply am asking those who have not got any issues whatsoever what router you are using.

 

I am asking as I plan to upgrade my router but I do not want to purchase one that is not compatible with my iPhone as it will be my primary use.

 

So pretty much state your router make and model and your positive experiences, in order to help me to make a decision on what router to purchase.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

There is no such thing as "an iOS5 compatible router".

While some of the issues could simply be the result of a crappy router, most are likely easily resolveable with basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide, a firmware update of the router, or tweaking router settings.  The rest, a very tiny percentage, are hardware issues.
