Hey guys,

yesterday my Iphone 4 totally crashed. I tried to change the size of the letters, i changed the size, then changed it back and then suddenly the colors of my iphones changed in a totally strange way (white, purple, pink). And right after that it seemed like the touch isn't working anymore so I can't unlock it anymore and I can't turn it of or anything. It only reacts in the lowest part of the display but as it is unlocked I can't do anything with it. Yesterday I tried to restore it but it kind of didn't work and if I plug it to the computer now itunes don't even recognize the Iphone.

So what can I do to solve the problem????

how to go about it:

you cannot use the touch but you can still use the physical buttons

hold the "Home" and "Power" button togather for around 5 secs

now turn it on

 

if it worked, scream Yeah.

 

if not the shut it down like earlier and hold down the "home" button and then insert the sync cable into the iphone while the other end is connected to the computer and itunes is open.

 

it will start up and then itunes should recognise it as an iphine in recovery mode.

 

if not then send it to apple.
