i have an iphone 4s with a very small scratch on the bottom of the screen, and i was wondering would apple replace the screen

No. User abuse is not covered by warranty. Besides, the phone is still functional.

It will cost 199 for Apple to replace the phone. They don't just replace the screen. Kind of alot for a small scratch. Just get a screen protector and you shouldn't notice it.
