I know a lot of people have been having problems with this as am I. The suggested fix has always been the USB cable but I have 4 or 5 different ones, all of which I have switched out throughout the week. I've found if I had reset it enough times I can avoid doing the recovery but this can take up to 45 minutes.... Any suggestions? Apple can you fix this?

You would actually have to contact Apple and ask them.
As is clearly stated in the Terms of Use that we all agreed to, this is a user to user technical support forum.

That was more of a rhetorical plead, hence asking if any o the forum had any suggestions first. I plan on calling them, well as soon as I get my hands on a working phone.
