iPhone 4S Home Button laggy

I just bought my iPhone 4S from the Sacramento Apple Store, and i noticed the home button is a little bit laggy, i mean it moves when i push it both vertically and horizontally. It also does some strange "clicky" noise when doing that.

Is that normal or should I ask for a replacement?

If you believe the iDevice to be faulty, return it to place of purchase and get them to check it for you.

Actually, that's what I am asking.. Is it normal for the home button to move and do that clicky noise or not?

If it's not, of course i'm taking it back to them!

It's just supposed to go in a little, straight, no creaky sound etc, you may hear a click. And your button should pop up right as u left go of it, not staying depressed in the area it is in. The button is also not supposed to protrude out of the front panel.
