iPhone 4 virtual shutter will not open

I found the solution. you basically shake it. yes, shake the phone. obviously it is a hardware malfunction that a certain sensor fails to send the signal to the system... or I dont know but shaking it worked for me twice, so far.

This is the same problem I have but with my iPod touch 4th Gen... It connects to wifi for 3 seconds and then stops working. When I open the camera app, it immediately switches to video and the shutter won't open. I can't click anything except the square with the picture that was last taken! When i go on an app that requires the microphone it prompts me with a message saying "This device needs to be connected to a microphone" PLEASE HELP!Message was edited by: leoncocopops

1) Have you reset it recently? Is there something wrong with your WiFi, perhaps?2) Try restoring it.3) WELL, YOU NEED A MICROPHONE THEN.

The thing is my ipod HAS A MICROPHONE and my wifi is fine... I can connect to it with my pc
