I have an iPhone 4. Last night I started experiencing difficulties opening pages. Safari is not recognizing any Username or Password (any or both) for any website. I contacted those websites (companies) and they confirmed that I was using the correct Usernames and Passwords. These websites have opened properly via a PC computer. I have cleared History and cleared Cookies and Data and have also cleared Bookmarks history. I have powered off the cell for a few seconds too - nothing has helped. Any suggestions? Did you also reset your phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data, but it can clear some glitches.

You have a couple options here. If you go into Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data and hit Remove all Website Data. This should remove all saved data from these websites. If this does not work, you can reset all settings (but leave your content in place) by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings. *Note, if you are taken back to the iOS 5 setup assistant, make sure to choose the option to set up as new iphone to avoid losing any of your content.
