iPhone 4 cracked

Hi there,

Thanks for looking at my forum,

Ok so basically while I was away today I left my iPhone 4 in my bedroom all day and bare in mind my bedroom got really hot as the sun was shining in all day (I live in the UK and as you know the whether has been quite good). Anyway, when I got home I removed the bumper that I had on the iPhone and all of a sudden it cracked!!!!! :0 I literarily have no idea how this even happened because all I did was remove the bumper. Also I have NEVER dropped this phone! Could the heat be a factor as it was very very hot in there. Would Apple replace/do something about this as it is 3 months past warranty and I am not happy at all >:( also I would like to stress the fact that this iPhone wasnt dropped. The crack is a small curved line by the earpiece speaker and is about 4mm long.
